Doctors, nurses, CNAs, and medical technicians are showing up every day in the face of danger to wage battle against a common enemy — a virus smaller than the human eye can detect, that is disrupting lives and putting the most vulnerable members of our community at risk. From the CEOs of our nation's largest health institutions to the administrators, food service and janitorial staff at your local hospital, we owe a debt of gratitude to the entire medical community as they continue to show up for us.
Pray for our medical community. Ask God for provision, that they may have the personal protective equipment they need to protect themselves, and the supplies they need to provide the very best care for their patients. Pray for their physical and mental well-being as they work long hours and endure a tremendous amount of stress on and off the job. Pray for their families, that they will stay healthy, and have a sense of peace about the work their loved one is doing in the medical field. Pray for hospital administrators and managers, that they will have the wisdom to make good decisions, and the support they need to do the next right thing.
